Hello all
For several years now I've been emailing out to an increasing group of friends about gigs I intend to go to, with the aim of gathering a group together and making a night of it.
Realising that a lot of my friends are not all as in touch as I am with the music scene, the email would give a brief description of the type of music and have links to several of their best songs on youtube. The email list in many ways has changed from just being about gathering friends to gigs to spreading the word about lesser known artists.
Just come back from a weekend with the legendary Danny Smith and while discussing gigs etc. he suggested that I should turn my emails into a blog, so that others with similar tastes can discover and share, even if they are not able to go to the London gigs. So here it is.
It's not going to be particularly fancy, strewn with long words or overly detailed descriptions, just a small introduction and some links. Over time I will be posting past emails, although only will continue if people find it useful, can't be bothered to just write for my own sake
